Abby is being a pain in my arse this afternoon. She just sits there and cries half of the time. She took an hour nap and then woke up, so I gave her a cookie and a sippy cup of milk. She seemed alright for a while, but then she went back to her same routine of just sitting there and throwing a tantrum. So I changed her diaper and put her back to bed. Whether she’s going to go back to sleep or not is another matter…

The hubby is also being moody too. There’s a ‘For Sale’ sign on our duplex and we found out today that they’re trying to push us out of the upper. There’s barely anything on the lower half of out duplex on the information sheet but tons on ours. There’s not even any pictures on that half of the house. I tell you, if they think that they’re going to push a family with a young kid out so easily- they’ve not met me yet :p I love this place. It really feels like home. I don’t want to move because moving house sucks ass. And I don’t even want to contemplate packing up everything we have. We’ve just accumulated so much stuff since we moved here- it’s insane. And I love the block we live on, I actually know the neighbours (and I’ve never got to know my neighbours before). It royally sucks ass.

Also, my Hello Kitty collection has exploded as of recent times. I was just a collector of everyday stuff with her on beforehand- but then my friend was moving and she wanted to give me some of her collection that she didn’t want anymore. So now I have a lot of stuff. And I went out to Target yesterday and got some stuff to add to the collection. I saw some cute pillows that I want, but I’ve recently been scouring eBay so now I have to wait. This is what I’ve bought from eBay (I still need to pay for the school bus)

So yeah, no more Hello Kitty stuff for me now. Must save some money towards other stuff πŸ˜€

I want to write something significant this evening, but my head hurts a lot. I don’t know whether it’s dehydration or what…but I have a monster headache 😦

We had the family cookout this afternoon. It was fun. And the rental van goes back tomorrow. I’m gonna miss that van after having it for two weeks. It sucks to not have a car when you have a kid 😦

Pirates and Beaches

We went to the beach today. Abby got to tryon her new swimsuit for the first time this year, she looked cute in it. Doesn’t like the lake much though. I don’t think it was the temperature, she just started crying when the waves were washing over her little feet. That’s another thing to add to my ‘things Abby is scared of’ list. Pah πŸ˜›

And good news! I have my purse back! Complete with passport, iPod, house keys, one dead cellphone (that I now have to return to the insurance company) and a wad of cash! That was a nice surprise…I had $15 in there! I’ve been thinking about all evening what I could spend that on….after going through so much stress recently with my parents stressing me out and then losing my purse…I deserve something very nice indeed. Of course, I can’t buy much with $15, I just fancy something like a nice photoframe or maybe a $15 iTunes card for some new toons. Hmm…..*puts on thinking cap*

Anyhoo, have to get t bed. Footie is on in the morning and we have to be at BBC for 10 am. I am going to have to kick my brother to get him out of bed πŸ˜›

And now comes the Pirates part. I cannot wait until POTC2. So I made a new wallpaper. Feel free to use it πŸ˜‰

Fat Tories….oops I mean Factories June 29, 2006

Ha. I screwed up my title on purpose, because I’m an idiot πŸ˜›

We ended up touring the Harley plant and the Miller complex today with my parents, Steve and Nick’s grandpa. Because my stupid passport is missing at the moment, they wouldn’t give me a funky lime green wristband 😦 So I was stealing beer sips at the beer garden afterwards. I felt like I was 16 again. Being asked for ID everywhere to prove you’re over the age of 21 rocks. I never thought I’d say that. Ever.

Talking about the passport issue, I got a call today from the place where I last saw my bag. It supposdly had been handed in to a person who works there and they’ve had it in their office for a week. So tomorrow, I have to go to their office to see if it’s my bag. I replaced my house keys and my cellphone. And it would be really nice to see my iPod again (since I cannot pull $300 out of my ass for a new one). But the thing I really want is my passport. I do not fancy having to go through all the bullshit with immigration to get a new one with a new visa inside. So, fingers crossed πŸ™‚

Steve ordered pizza tonight from Pizza Skuttle and it’s good but I’ve eaten too much salad today and drank too much beer. Yes, I am aware of the fact that the beer cancels out the healthiness of the salad πŸ˜›

Mommy Friends June 28, 2006

I seriously wish that I had some mommy friends I could hang out with. There’s Jennie, but she lives too far away. And then there’s Jill who’s due in September, but no baby yet. Then there’s Sarah who lives in Ireland. I just get sick of sitting on my tukcus all day with Abby. I go to the park, and I see other moms there but nobody really my age. I have Rhonda who I ask for advice, but she’s my mom’s age and she has grandkids.

Sigh. I hate living in an area where I don’t really know anyone my age. Everyone with kids round here is older than me 😦
